Does Sims 4 provide product codes?

I've just bought some expansion packs and was wondering if they came with codes like the Sims 3's CD keys.

Online distribution tends to be different than CD Keys, for obvious reasons. If you buy through Steam it's license based and thus unlikely to give you a product code. Launch the game and find out if it asks you for codes or not, if not, then clearly it automatically recognized you have the DLC.

Aaah I see, thank you. I'm asking this because (before buying The Sims 4) I also bought The Sims 3 and its 11 EPs on Steam, they all came with CD keys which I used to register on the official Sims 3 website (and I could collect free items from registering the games). So I thought they kept that system with Sims 4. I tried visiting the EA website for Sims 4 but there's nothing showing I could get free items from all the EPs I bought... sad.
