Discord DM's about a steam report.

Hi, I recently got a message of a guy on discord. He told me that he had false reported me for "doing a illegal purchase on steam". He told me that the "admin" was gonna disable my account soon. I have not been active on this account for about a month or so. He linked me to a Valve employee steam account, but I am not sureif it is real (The steamprofile link he gave me was very long, and I DID NOT CLICK IT) Is this a scam or something else. Or is it true? What can I do?

Of course is it a scam! Thumbs up for showing some basic common sense instead of following the scammer's lead like an idiot.
What you can do: if you got a Steam profile of a scammer, report. If you only got Discord profiles, you can try reporting, but no idea whether anybody @ Discord gives a damn.

Random people on discord have no idea what you're doing or on what platform unless you're streaming it. Anything coming from anywhere other than as a Notification from the Steam Client, is always a scam or otherwise untrustworthy.

Just like how you shouldn't use your Steam Login on any site that isn't the Steam Store.

I just experienced this scam, when he asked me if I wanted to help him not get my account suspended I said no and he deleted everything he sent lmao
