Download Speeds vs. Battle.net
I currently go to Rutgers University, where I experience anywhere between 50-100MB/s download speeds on Battle.net, so why is it that the FASTEST i've seen my steam downloads go is 600kb/s, I have download speed set to unlimited and my download region in the closest to me, New York. This isn't a complaint, I just want to know why.

Its possible your univeristy is throtting it. Steam is a hugely popular service that sucks up bandwidth faster than a beer chute at a frat party.

Also right now everyone and their grandmother is downloading Fallout 4 which is obliterating the content servers. I've heard that changing it to weird places like India or Japan helps
