Edit: The only reason I can see for this is that the guy I traded with disabled the authenticator after getting the badge.
You also need to have email/mobile trade confirmations enabled to avoid the trade hold. Maybe you have those turned off?
I've got mobile auth over week already. I've been doing trades all the time, almost every day. Today this ♥♥♥♥ happened tho.
The guy that I trade with also has mobile auth enabled. He's also trading every day and never had problem like this.

under your profile privacy settings. It's separate from the mobile authenticator, but also needs to be enabled by both people to avoid the trade hold, even though some of the warnings don't mention it.
If you've got that turned on and it's still not working, I'm not really sure what the cause would be.
We both have it enabled. Like I said, kinda weird situation.

Yes, if you have mobile authenticator protection for more than 7 days AND email confirmations on for trading you should not get escrow unless the person you're trading with has restrictions.
