Trade hold for 3 days
Like what the ♥♥♥♥? I use mobile authenticator since 1st december, the guy I trade with uses it since 30 november, but the trade is on hold for 3 days, what the actual ♥♥♥♥ ?

Also, both our items just disappeared from inventory. LOL

Same here, I have the authenticator enabled and I just traded with a guy that also has it according to his badges and the trade was put on hold. WTF!

Edit: The only reason I can see for this is that the guy I traded with disabled the authenticator after getting the badge.

The items disappear from your inventory during the trade hold so that further trades can't mess with ones already in progress.

You also need to have email/mobile trade confirmations enabled to avoid the trade hold. Maybe you have those turned off?

I've got mobile auth over week already. I've been doing trades all the time, almost every day. Today this ♥♥♥♥ happened tho.
The guy that I trade with also has mobile auth enabled. He's also trading every day and never had problem like this.

I'm talking about this option:

under your profile privacy settings. It's separate from the mobile authenticator, but also needs to be enabled by both people to avoid the trade hold, even though some of the warnings don't mention it.

If you've got that turned on and it's still not working, I'm not really sure what the cause would be.

We both have it enabled. Like I said, kinda weird situation.

So, the first time I tried to trade, even though we both have authenticator, it says we're on a trade hold for 3 days. Now, when I try to trade, we both see "you can't trade right now, more information...blah blah blah.. Wow, nice.

sir if the Email Confirmation is Activate trade hold will gone?

Yes, if you have mobile authenticator protection for more than 7 days AND email confirmations on for trading you should not get escrow unless the person you're trading with has restrictions.
