Do daily deals only last for a day?

Ok so,I was browing Steam store and saw Furi for sale (75% off) and it said it was a daily deal,but would end on 17th of september

I know,this is probably a dumb question,but I am really unsure about it.

Any help would be nice. Thanks!

Daily deals would mean what new today deal, not how long they last, because every store that has a daily deal, deal may last X amount of time the Dev set.

Also note that the displayed dates are localised to your timezone and may not represent a reasonable hour during that day.
EG: I'm in Australia and most of the time if a sale says it ends on the 14th, it'll end at 3:00am on the 14th Australian time.

When it gets close to the end, the store page will have a timer so you can work out for sure the exact deadline.

If they last for 5 days then why call them daily deals?

Why not ask every store that does it, then you figure it out what it means in the marketing.
