I don't know any examples of lan VR games sold on steam, neither of single PC local multiplayer ones
OP states: " I have gaming PCs that also have Stem VR installed."
So my guess would be that the idea is some sort of gaming centre?
If that's the case, you will need to:
- Create six Meta accounts
- Create six Steam accounts
- Connect every Q3 to it's own device, because you need to authorise them in order to use them in combination with SteamVR
- Family share - or buy the games you want to have sessions with separately ( way safer option)
From your title i assume you are trying to do this all through one account, this is not gonna work.
You can switch accounts on one headset fine, but with multiple headsets you will need multiple accounts.
It would be nice if steam vr allowed for family living room.
Does quest hardware support that?
Otherwise, what is the issue? you can only use one headset at once, and everyone can create their own accounts
