XBOX Controller controls are suddenly mixed up only in games
Greeting everyone.
im going through what seems to be an unsolvable problem, my XBOX 360 controller is linked to my laptop through a receiver. i was playing dark souls 1 remastered everything was fine until i booted the game yesterday, here is the problem.
First the controller was not recognized while playing dark souls 1 remastered i fixed that using ctrl+alt+delete then cancel solution it was fine at first then i noticed the pad under left analog wasn't working i tried everything know to mankind i could not fix it.
Then the unsolvable problem started the game recognizes the controls are mixed up for example pressing B causes an heavy attack.
i checked the windows setup USB game controllers the controller is working fun. it simply will not no matter what i tried work properly while using steam.
i tried every layout i could for XBOX controllers on steam nothing worked all the solutions regarding layout changing or steam big picture mode settings changing did not work.
I tried the X360CE.X64 didn't work as well updated the drivers and changed them still wont work i remind you again when tested in windows usb game controller setup it works fine.
i hope can find someone to solve this problem

you get choices in steam for steam input or not.

goto the games library right click, properties , controller and you can disable the steam input or enable it.
