I develop games in UE5 using an Acer Nitro 5 Notebook with a GTX1650 (which is very outdated now and not recommended to run UE5) and I had constant crashes on my end, but whenever I increased the Virtual Memory on Windows to 64000 MB (64GB), these crashes stopped.

i can run gta v and resident evil 2 remake and more but why does this one crashes when it loads into a game?
Non-Unreal Engine 5 games seem to be easier to run in most cases (with everything on low or so) but UE5 games, you will definitely need a more powerful laptop or so to run it.
I'm on the same boat. Can run a lot of things but when it comes to UE5, it usually ends with a black screen + crash. Would also help to know what game you are trying to play.
Is it Black Myth: Wukong?
Ah, yeah, definitely because it's an Unreal Engine 5 game. It's best to just move on and find something non-Unreal Engine 5 related, for now. Until you get something that can handle it in the future.
From the Dev, I assume (found in the game's forums)
"Hi. Over the past year, a lot has been changed, and in particular there was a transition to version 5 of the unreal engine. Details about all updates can be found in the discord'
There is the problem, "preferably Nvidia". I have a desktop with the specs that other commenter has, but mine is Intel 530. I can't run the games either. But my old pc with AMD that only 8gb memory was capable of starting the game, only to crash. This is 16gb with Intel and it crashes before it loads.
And you want to hear a funny one, you can't even get Constructville in Epic Launcher, the same who made the Unreal Engine. I think it is just plain stupid to create games on systems knowing that you made them for more high-end rather than attempt to make them playable for people who are low-end. There are more people with low-end systems than high-end because they are expensive and a new graphics card costs more than the desktop itself.
I think your advice should be "Do you have Nvidia or AMD? If not then it won't play".
Forget about all that other stuff of increasing VRam or updating your graphics driver or whatever is the most simple repeated explanation, just say that it won't run on Intel.
That intel (HD530) is just an integrated chip on the CPU. It's not a dedicated card, or even viable of anything beyond youtube video's.
"not running on intel" doesn't actually apply here, since Intel do make actual graphics cards, though more aimed at graphics designers than gamers. These aren't common among gamers.
Intel has however released a new set of lower price gaming cards, which are not that bad. Budget yes, but for the price they're in a good place.
The reason they ask "AMD or Nvidia" is because these two make the vast majority of gaming cards people use, and the ones that most games are tested on, regardless of OS used.
There is "low end", the GTX550 etc.. and then there's the Intel HD530..
Also, you don't have a "16gb intel", since that's going to be your RAM, not VRAM. It's 2GB of VRAM, and it's not low end, it's very low end.
It's designed just to load youtube and websites, and to give builders something to install drivers with. Gaming's well out of the question for the HD530.
