Will Alan Wake 2 come to Steam?
I’ve been told that E**c is the publisher for the Remedy game. If this is so will the game ever come to steam?

Sometimes a publisher just does not bring their games to Steam, even after EPIC exclusivity ends.
See Square Enix and their Kingdom Hearts games. Have been on EPIC for 3 years, no Steam release in sight even though they publish all their other games here.
Who knows WHY? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Alan Wake 2 was a huge flop. Remedy needs a Steam release to stay afloat.

Because Epic funded this one and it's the publisher, iirc.

Exactly. This is PUBLISHED by E**c. So why would E**c put one of their own games on Steam?
Because they are money hungry ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and if the kods would stop buying Fort*ite skins and they would make that much money anymore they would surely Release it on steam and im still waiting for that day tbh

Most of their games are a flop. Being on steam doesn't guarantee success.

Like Valve is not money hungry. How delusion are you?. Thinking Epic Games is the problem. They funded this. How many games did Valve fund with their 30% tax.

BE AWARE that Sweet Baby Inc is on Alan Wake 2, a company designed to control the narrative (to be appropriatly woke for one) and seed certain ideologies among other things.

If u care about right and wrong, do not support that game financially.
I got it for free with my video card.

I hope not. Why should we reward someone for fraternizing with the enemy? Loyalty should be valued, not betrayal.

I really wanted it to come over to steam but I don't think this is gonna happen for the following reasons:

1 - Epic funded and published it.

2 - Epic is trying everything and anything to try and drag people over to EGS.

3 - Although AW2 hasn't made its money back, Epic is willing to eat the loss and giving games for free every month is part of their willingness of taking the hit in order to bring people over.

4 - And last but not least, Fortnite. As long as Fortnite keeps being the juggernaut it is, they can keep throwing spaghetti on the wall to see how much sticks.

Conclusion: Unless something extraordinary happens, Allan Wake 2 is and will continue to be an Epic exclusive for at least the next 10 years when Epic ultimately fails and shut that store down, which, I don't really know if it would be a good outcome.

Hear me out, I don't like EGS just like the majority here but competition is good for the consumer. It would be best if they could actually improve their service and put some real pressure onto steam, specially in times like this where we see games' prices going up constantly.

I would urge people to check out playnite.
Awesome app to launch all games from all stores, including emulated games, with some amazing extension for you to have even all your achievements in one place and whole lot more.

I think this one's a lost cause...not only is Epic publishing the game, but didn't they outright buy Remedy? As much as I don't like Epic, they have funded and helped out studios and I can respect those games being exclusive (personally if there's a game I want and don't want to support the launcher, I just buy them on consoles).

can you give me a valid reason to support steaming pile on PC???

In one word no

This is indeed a good thing. I have no intention of supporting a company that has chosen to fraternize with the enemy.

Remedy recently broke up with Epic and now self publish. They haven’t made any money on Alan Wake 2. It’s been a disaster for them.

Alan Wake 2 looked interesting, but I don't like having to make more logins just to get to more games. Making a game "exclusive" to one single gaming storefront is setting the game up to do poorly in sales
