New Valve games...?

I don't think they've announced anything.

Don't care. In the past, they've only done rather generic shooters, and DOTA-2 is multiplayer-only AFAICS. So, as far as I'm concerned, they have nothing interesting anyway.

I personally think Valve has made great games like Portal1/2, Left4Dead1/2, And including the Half life series. But thanks for the information... I guess? Lol.

Why would valve make a new game, when they already have a steady source of income and a good reputation?

Probably to make more money??? Maybe??? Plus Valve is a gaming company so it wouldn't make sense if they didn't make new games.

Valve is slow to make progress. Whether that's a good thing or not is up for you to decide.

but it takes a lot of money to make a game, and no guarantee that it will make that money back.

what i know so far about new valve games is that when i was at gamestop they said that half-life 3 was comming around 2015 or something if i remember corectly :D

When they made Portal they was merely broke... So they don't need to worry about money at the moment; Knowing how much they make now.

Yeah, that's most likely to happen in 2015, I hope it will!

My guess is that they're working on an entirely new engine to use in all of their flagship titles. We will probably see it when HL3 comes out (whenever that is). And that engine will be used on a new CS, TF3, Portal 3, ect. This is simply my assumption and not factual though.

I had the exact same idea!!! Because Valve and Gabe Newell have been way to quiet about everything recently and it's just a big clue that they are working on something big! :D

When Half-Life 2 came it was kind of a technology leap from the first one (and new source engine).

My guess is that they are waiting for a good 3D technology to make Half-Life 3 in 3D (with something like Oculus).
