What PC games have Playstation input glyphs?
My kids are being introduced to gaming by way of my PC streaming to the living room. Their primary difficulty right now is the onscreen glyphs don't match our controllers.

I have an 8bitdo controller with Nintendo markings for ABXY, and a PS4 controller with Playstation markings. I do not have any controller with Xbox markings for ABXY. A game will tell them to press A (the bottom face button) and they'll press B (the right face button) as Nintendo is swapped A/B and X/Y.

It's probably more likely to find PC games with Playstation glyphs rather than Nintendo glyphs; are they any you can suggest?

Hades does, I think. I'm honestly trying to think of any, as I always use a PS4 controller. But most games have the Xbox prompts since that's native to Windows and generally all game devs support it. Not so much with PS, most don't bother to add the glyphs to their games.

I don't actually notice it that consciously, since I've used xbox, ps and nintendo controllers since forever and automatically translate it in my head. Makes it harder to think of any.

If you look at the store page (using Warframe as an example because I play it on a controller; not recommending it for kids)

https://store.steampowered.com/app/230410/Warframe/

on the right column it says:

Full Controller Support
Xbox Controllers
PlayStation Controllers
Steam Input API

Games with "PlayStation Controllers" (or "Your PlayStation Controller") explicitly mentioned are very likely to support PlayStation glyphs. Games with "Steam Input API" listed are somewhat likely to support PlayStation glyphs.

There's an option on my Steam Deck to invert the face buttons so it uses Nintendo button placement but I can't find a similar option on my desktop Steam installation unfortunately.

Here's a link to a search for games that explicitly support PS4 or PS5 controllers:

in steam - settings - controller you can enable 'use nintendo layout' for your 8bit do gamepad?

or since usually youre not looking at the gamepad while gaming - just print out a xbox layout for them to memorise. with practise they will just know which button to press.
