Military RP? Where can I do this?

I've had no luck in finding where to Military Roleplay. I used to play Gmod way back and Military RP servers were plenty full. Not anymore, I've searched FiveM server and to the same luck, none. Is there a game i don't know of or have overlooked to where i might be able to find a Military Rp server and climb the ranks? There's got to be something.. Thanks in advance.

Day of Defeat used to have a pretty active community in that regard. Havent played it for over a decade myself so I cant say for sure.

Yes these are good Mil Sims however I'm more so looking for actual roleplay. Including breifs / debreifs. Missions and negotiations not just constant war. I play lots of squad but i miss the casualness behind Military RP servers. Thanks for the suggestions tho!

These would be custom player run servers. As like in Gmod. Or how a FiveM server is ran.

The gmod rp's with 64 player servers were so fun, I don't think you are going to find anything similar unfortunately.

It might be hard to find games for this since the ones focused around the military as suggested in the thread already are all about war.

The most I could suggest is trying out text based stuff. While I don't know any that are specific FOR military, the places I do know generally allow a lot of creativity and freedom. Can add me if you want me to be more specific I suppose but otherwise I wish you luck in your search!

Also used to do a lot of roleplay on Gmod myself although at the time it was mostly related to the half-life 2 setting. Good times.

I know this is an old post but I have been developing a MilitaryRP server since last august. been open to the public since January. Trying to grow the population now, but I genuinely have not heard any major complaints from new players. I am going about it with a different mind set. Guardian Gaming Military RP if you want to try it out.
