Looking for slimier to The Journeyman Project 2: Buried in Time

Hello everyone,

I'm looking to play a game slimier to The Journeyman Project 2: Buried in Time.
It's a puzzle solving, time traveling, first person game.
It was interesting, smart, adventures and a bit a head of its time.

I keep looking for something alike it and can't seem to find anything serious enough.

Can anyone suggest a game that would compete with Buried in Time?

If you're looking for a first person puzzler; there's a few gems knocking around although I am not familiar with the game you have mentioed so these titles may be a bit off but excellent nevertheless:-
