Steam, PSN, Google (AKAMAI network), banning 3,000 Peak Internet customers (HELP)
Hey there, sorry for the long title,

I don't know if anyone here happens to game on the PSN from time to time, or if any of you have had this happen on steam or google. But I'll make a long story short:

A new internet company here in Co Springs, CO partnered with DirectTV to provide internet, and my apartment complex among others were without option forced to switch from Comcast to this new company. Long story short they are coax / Ethernet based, no complaints on service itself. They were running on the same lines basically anyway. After the switch I started seeing this dreaded error:

"WS-37397-9"

After much research turns out that in my case (as this error can be caused for different reasons), this new company that serves probably 3-6,000 people bought up a bunch of 208.xx IP numbers that are being repeatedly banned by ALL of akamai's content delivery network, and if you do a TRACERT command to the Steam community servers, Origin, PSN, among many other websites, they will end at AKAMAI. Since Dec 1 I have had them switch the IP several times, only a few days later - let me remind you I am not hacking or breaking anyone's TOS - bans me and all my neighbors and everyone with those same subnets and all of their other properties.

This means that although updating games themselves is still posible, I (WE) cannot
- load game thumbnails for Steam and Origin, we are:
DENIED AUTHORIZATION TO THE LOGIN PAGE ON ANY PLAYSTATION PAGE ("Access Denied
You don't have permission to access "http://auth.api.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/2.0/oauth/authorize?" on this server.)

-Cannot browse, use, or buy, anything from steam origin store,
- Cannot login to the Playstation Network, as our login will be denied no matter what password is intered.

I had the owner of the company sit here in my living room, to troubleshoot the problem with me. He called the backbone and got different IP's for EVERYONE as this problem was being reported by multiple properties. I can confirm that I (WE) are being DOS BLOCKED WITHOUT CAUSE OR REASON. After ALL the IP's were changed, two weeks later:

SAME THING! Google says I have to enter a captcha EVERY TIME i search for a term, because traffic has come from my IP that has "violated terms of service". This time, only 10 days after new IP's were issued and they were fine! This means Akamai, and others, banned my new IP which was fine days after our entire complex was issued them! THIS is where it gets ILLEGAL.

I am here to ask for help or to get data on if anyone else has had this happen to them. Although PSN and other services are not the responsibility of Valve, Steam is... and it is unusable because with DOS in Steam's case, I am not delivered error messages, my packets are simply Ignored.

Can you guys tell me what to do? If I cannot get in contact with a webmaster at AKAMAI, I will be pressing Peak Internet ( http://www.peakinter.net/ ) to file damages against AKAMAI as if you look up all of the IP addresses on WHOIS they are ALL registered to Peak Internet of Woodland Park, CO. No hacking, or TOS violations have been done, and it is illegal to block communication of customers for under the guise of breach of contract. When in fact AKAMAI is banning these IP's again and again without reason, once again, best I can tell is even though these IP's were BOUGHT IN 2010, they are identified as "OPEN PROXIES". Am I an open proxy???? hmmm or a robot? doesn't seem like it

How Do I post images? I would like to post screenshots to better help illustrate my point.
Also. Lots of IPs are allocated to me and the people using this company, you can lookup each one by hand if you want but... starting with mine:

WOULD LIKE TO KNOW how these IPs are Malicious or open proxies or what hacker in China is doing serious enough ♥♥♥♥ to have the entire 208.85 subnet blocked , VALVE AND AKAMAI, when my ARIN WHOIS SHOWS YOU THAT INNOCENT END USERS ARE USING THESE IPs. WE ARE NOT OPEN PROXIES.

I'm not an IT tech, but sounds like your ISP's servers are configured (or mis-configured) as open proxies. Which means the majority of your content providers (such as Sony, netflix, hulu, etc) will block that traffic over security concerns since hackers and pirates tend to use them to hide their true location/identities
