Will I know if someone rejected my friend request?

I sent a friend request, but never heard back. The person maybe didn't feel like messing with it right now, or maybe they denied it. I have no idea. All I know is they aren't in my friend's list so it hasn't been accepted yet. Will I know if they rejected or ignored it?

Check your friends manager, it would say the invite under Invites Pending (or something similar, can't remember). If they're in your friend list then they accepted, if it's under pending then they haven't done anything yet and if it's not under pending & not in your friends then it's declined.

It doesn't say anything about invites pending (unless I'm looking in the wrong spot), but it shows Friends 4/300 but I only have 3 friends listed.

Click 'view friends list' bottom right corner and that's where it'll show.

Oh, ok. I wasn't seeing it because I was looking at my profile through the web page. It shows in the Steam Client. Thank you.

Who cares? Unless you know this person in real life, it's nothing to get worked up over. I've declined some requests (and even had some of mine declined), not to mention...I get some while I'm at work, so it'll be a good 12 hours before I even get home and notice.

Well I never saw a tab or something saying that my friend request got declined so idk. but seriously it's nothing to get worked over by it
