Steam Sale
Is it just me or does this sale really suck. I mean dont get me wrong im grateful that there IS a sale, but what happened to the awesomeness? For example Terreria, a normal steam holiday sale it was like 1.99 and now its 4$. I know this one game is not that big of a difference but it seems like these sales prices are the same as just a regular sale. The Holiday sale used to FREAKING ROCK. What happened steam.....Big Disappointment in this sale.

The game publishers make the prices and the discounts. It's not fair to blame Steam if you don't like the sale prices.

The new sale structure eliminates timed flash/daily discounts. Instead Steam is encouraging a lower general discount. Say a game was on the summer sale for a base discount of 50% but had a daily or fkash sake for 75% off. Now devs are expected to just put a flat 66% off for the sale.

Using Terraria (base price $9.99) as an example, during the summer sale its base discount was 50% off at $4.99 and had a timed sale during the summer sale of 75% off for $2.49. Now instead of that limited time sale, they are offerring it for 66% off ($3.39) for the entire sale.
