Just a heads up to all you gamers ive had a message from someone about a scam using my profile name and details steam was notified by me and had to change email address and password so please if anything like this happens to you its not me doing it so be carefull guys and girls.

no i didnt a girl from austria told me about it said she was scammed out of 20'000 then the person blocked her after recieving the money ive now changed my avatar email and password as well as my name just thought i had to tell everyone

excuse me im not gna bother getting into an argument with you i dont normally come on to the forums so didnt know there was already notices up about scams so i just thought i would tell people about it not knowing that people had already mentioned it so no im not posting spam as you say i was just letting people know that someone has hacked my profile and using it to scam people and if they come across it if it happens to them that it isnt me that is doing it as i value my steam account which is why support advised me to change my details like profile name email etc. So please no more messages moaning about what i wrote as im not gna answer you any more as it seems like you are trying to wind me up,

Usually such "victims" are scammers, telling a scare story. Making you believe you are in some trouble and that you need to contact who they say. Then they attempt to get your account, and your items.

Only contact steam support on the original homepage, which you go to on your own.

That was the scam and you fell for it.

Did they give you the link to contact steam in? They just stole your log in.

How did they contact you? Discord?

Do the steps to recover your account now. Unless it's too late.
