Need help with harasser
This is my first time doing a discussion, so I'm not sure what exactly I'm doing. So, a while ago, I came across a toxic streamer in DBD. I would explain the whole thing here, but I don't wanna do that. Long story short, they have a comment on their profile which has my username in it, they talk about me in streams and show my profile, and have made posts on tiktok about me, insulting and lying about me. I've reported her to steam, twitch, and tiktok, and nothing works. Because of her comment on her profile, I've been getting harassed and threatened on my social medias, and I don't know what else to do. I have her blocked on everything, and I have asked her to remove the comment and explained why, yet she has ignored it. She has spent so much time insulting me and sending others to harass me that I'm starting to think I should start over on everything in order to get rid of her and her cult like friend and followers. Yet I don't want to do that at all. Is there anything else I can do?

EDIT: I feel like I need to clarify why I said harasser, when the streamer themselves haven't done it. I wasn't sure how to type 'This person made a comment on their profile insulting me which leads people to my account and to all of my social media which in turn makes other people harass, insult, and threaten me because of this one comment' The reason I labeled the streamer as the harasser is because they still talk about me, happily show others my account to get them to harass me, and because of that comment they made that encourages others. Again, this isn't just a steam issue anymore. This is a general being harassed on everything issue because of this one person

Edit 2: Stop replying with this. I get it. It's my fault. I deserve every insult, every threat, everything. I'll just disappear like what the streamer and the harasser wants me to do. Thanks particularly to two people in this who made me feel even worse than I have for the entire situation. You made someone disappear. Good work

Several people already informed the OP what needs to be done in case that these threats are real. Information and sources are provided in this thread. But I think it's also good to point out that OP is not 100% reliable and tries to gather an echo-chamber where people pity them as the solely victim. It just wastes time and resources of gamers here who really tried to help them and maybe help them even further. As soon as people voiced some issues OP again tried to pressure people with hints at suicide (see their 2nd edit).

This topic is not to show of people, but to explain how to end a situation.

It doesn't seem like the best way to 'end a situation' by starting up a whole thread about the situation, lying about the circumstances surrounding said situation, and completely ignoring any advice given to you about how to rectify the situation. This person clearly just wants attention. I figured I would dive a bit deeper so I can laugh at the absurdity of it a bit more.

No. This is not what it seem. We tried to help the op out before police or people judged op in wrong way.

The op did not know how to end the situation. This topic could just have told how.

Right. The police will tell whether or not it's harassment as the op claimed. My dad was police, so I'm no fool.

:kentconfused: You gained knowledge of police procedure genetically? :rufusjoking: That’s a rare variant of the appeal-to-authority!

Okay.

Harassment can exist even if it doesn’t rise to a legally-actionable level, after all.

Not true. It had to be fit in law definition to call it harassment.

Example: If you called police just because you feel like it, then they will say it is not harassment and no action is taken. Former accused may have a legal right to sued you for lost wage, defamation or emotional distress due to the bogus case.

I hope OP realize what have done and read the darn law definition.
