I thought it was the previous century where inverted mouse playstyles died.

Huh? What is all this even supposed to mean? I thought only left handed people who are not efficient enough to use their off hand used inverted mouse, to begin with. And even then... That's just an accessibility choice? What's the issue here?

You can use your mouse however you like, no need to fight.

You can do this in Windows settings too.

He means inverted Y-Axis basically, mainly for first person shooters, bloody pain to retrain muscle memory after 25 years of inverted :)

Why would anyone want to invert anything but the control of a plane or anything similar is really a ridiculous concept for me. Especially for an FPS game. Nobody in their right mind would want to look up when they move their mouse down when trying to shoot something...

Nobody moves their mouse up or down, they move it backwards and forwards ;)
Just like your head moves forward and you end up looking down.
Plenty articles on it if you want to do a little google session though, but in the end it's all muscle memory and habbit.
Heck makes no more sense to do it for a plane either tbf.

I am definitely moving my mouse up and down on the plane surface where it lie, and I certainly do not move my head forward to look down. Sound like we're not playing the same game called "life", buddy. :P

Kinda hard to move something down on a flat surface though the desk kinda gets in the way ;)
It was pretty much the default back at some point, just most here been born since then.
