best otome?

I can' recommend anything myself, but there is a Steam Curator for these type of games.

I am personally interested in the dev A'sRing. Was supposed to buy https://store.steampowered.com/app/2503780/Lunar_maiden_Riverside_Angel_and_the_Godlike_moment/ during the summer sale, but didn't.

Lots of Otome titles are exclusive to the Switch, I've had Virche Evermore: -ErroR:salvation- recommended to me.

I'm super late, but there are so many worthwhile Otome Games on steam, If you're looking for the best Romance options, I'd say some really good starters are: Cinderella Phenomenon, A Date with Death, Error143 and maybe Heart Fragment. These games are all free! and so, so worth playing! (speaking from experience haha)
But, if you're happy to spend a bit of money, I'd say some good purchases would be:
Nightshade, Nameless ~ The one thing you can recall ~, OZMAFIA!!, Amnesia : Memories and BUSTAFELLOWS.
There are lots of others, which you'll be able to find if you search "Otome Game" on your steam store :)
