My items got stolen by malware

Someone hacked my account and stole all my skins from my account. What can I do with this? I have his account and steam trade offert. :(

You can report the account and move on. The items are gone for good. You weren’t hacked, you were phished or hijacked, one way or another you gave away your credentials.

First you need to be sure your account is safe.

Do ALL of the following steps, in the right order:
1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
3. Change passwords from a clean computer
4. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
5. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

You haven't been hacked, you leaked your data somehow. And you won't see your items again, they're gone and Steam won't recover them.

If your items have been removed without you actually doing anything,

GET OUT OF YOUR GAME RIGHT NOW

and do the steps shown to you to keep your account SAFE.

You giving your account information to fishy sites is NOT being hacked, its you being irresponsible.

well mate, i got api hacked from scrap.tf without clicking on fishy websites. Rn, dont go on trading websites, they are dangerous. Fortunately i Revoked my API, Removed authenticator, changed my PW, and virus scanned. Now im safe and none of my items are gone, the best way to solve this issue is to double check ur trades. They could be fake and imitation bots, so yeah.

If you use an Authenticator theres noone who can "hack" your account without your permission. It's just that simple.

Do what NotEvenBlurm told you to do, and then stop giving your account info over to scam sites.

Was only your Steam items, so nothing of value was lost. Be glad it wasn't your bank account.
