I think you tend to forget that games have to go through the ESRB and politicians. A lot of the censorship comes from those groups ... not actually who you think it does.
I wouldn't surprise me in the least that those *groups* are making Sony out to be the bad guy here. Take it from someone who has dealt with censorship for a very long time ... when it comes to politics someone else always is to blame.
Note: I just did a websearch on this and it seems (not surprisingly) that any game coming out of the East has to be OKed by an individual at Sony of America. That means that it has to be OKed for use in America by an American. The real question is who this specific person is and what ties to the U.S. government or the ESRB board they have.
At some point in time you have to realize that the U.S. has had politicians that have specifically targeted video games so as to get rid of them completely.
Don't be surprised that we eventually find out that it really isn't Sony of America doing this because they want to ... it is because they are being FORCED TO.
And now look were we are
Yeah, going to disagree on that one. It will be on pc eventually because $$$
Just like demon's souls and bloodborne, right?
...nah lets salt the wounds bit more!
Guess those harpies have so much inner beauty I hope they will be proud when players will prefer even uglified uptight characters instead of them
Literally the only thing I've heard about this game is that some people are apparently angry that the game's characters are wearing too much clothing.
That tends to be the result of fairly conservative ratings agencies like the ESRB, not some group of hippies somewhere having a patent on being topless.
You want a Game that has Topless, I can get you one...
But it won't be from STEAM...
The Point is, Companies associated with STEAM??
Refuse to admit they are in the wrong, ~_~
I don't know what Stellar Blade is, but I also don't own a PlayStation 5, either...
I Game where People don't caused Trouble...
& Companies completely leave us alone...
Which is the way it should be...
But aparently, STEAM ain't get that point, ~_~
Steam has 2,000 games on it with adult only sexual content. The developers of this game did not want to make a porn game. So they didn't.
Sooo, what?? Is the Reviews based on what exactly??
The problem with the conservative hippy argument is that is in BG3 we can have full frontal nudity and penis jiggle physics, did you hear complaints from conservatives? How about the Abby TLOU2 sex scene? no, people were angry about Joel dying.
With those two games let's be honest one focused on lesbians and the sex scene wasn't appealing to straight guys and that's ok. In BG3 the penis physics and bear sex is catering more towards queer folks. No censorship
But Stellar Blade catches the straight guys eyes "male gaze" and some people don't like the very thought of that hence censorship, but in other games the penis can swing and jiggle. Guaranteed a attractive woman with another woman is fine, but if straight guy also finds it attractive it will be censored.
People were absolutely raging about BG3, calling it pornography and deviant smut.
Plus there’s plenty of revealing outfits in Stellar Blade if for some reason you feel the need to eye video game women yet are too ashamed to just look at porn.
