Community Market so broken???

Sometimes it works and most of the time is broken.. when searching for an item I get (There was an error performing your search. Please try again later) also when trying to purchase an item I get this item is not available please try again later. I feel like this broken system is hurting sales. Why wont steam just fix it?????
