MFW I discovered a new (to me) way to navigate the vanilla library.
So apparently if you start typing on your keyboard while on the library screen you can just type out the name of the game you want and it will automatically take you to it. Mind. Blown.

Well, you do need to have the search bar at the top of your list selected first, but yes.

There's actually a lot of different ways to search and filter your library, which really comes in handy when you have a lot of games.

Actually it works as long as you have any game in the library list selected! Surprised the heck out of me!

It's the same as in Explorer, you simply start typing & it takes you there. Useful!
The same can be done when looking through folders or looking for a short cut on desktop...

If you want to go a step further on Windows suggest you get Windows power toys.

Than you simply press a keyboard combination to create a context sensitive search field and use search and function parameter to do about anything without having to move the mouse.it saves a lot of time if you need to do more things than just game.

you can do the same with file explorer and the file/folder, if found, will be highlighted

Useful in windows in general, times where im in a particular folder with many files I can hit the first couple of letters and it highlights the item immediately.

that's the truth! Been teaching some older guys at work how to do basic Windows/Chrome navigation, and I kept saying "window this, tab that" and finally one of them stopped me and said "What's a window? What's a tab?" Hard to remember what it's like to be completely new to something so fundamental for most of us.
