Longest Game You played?
As the title says, what is longest game you played? This could include dlcs, all play styles, and such. For me, the longest I played in a single play through would be between Witcher 3 and Tales of Beseria at 100 hours each even when I was playing at a leisurely pace for both. What are your longest titles?

I'm still playing games like Civ 2, UT99, Grand Prix World and Championship Manager 2001/2002 after 20+ years. I don't know how many hours I have in them, but it's thousands.

I put several thousands of hours into the Diablo games, World of Warcraft, Morrowind and all dlc, and Skyrim and all dlc. I just finished Diablo 3 with 3 new heroes just the other day, that was at least 400 extra hours.

Seems like you enjoy titles that involve competing, sounds interesting :D

The Long Dark

(its a survival game. Vet players have played single runs for hundreds of days in sandbox mode) Besides sandbox, there are mini challenges, as well as a full story mode. Devs are good at making improvements and bugfies.

Kenshi
Another survival game.... but thats its. Still, very intersting with lots of lore spread about to discover and no 'one way' to move up the so called ladder and win.... do as you want- anything goes here. Dev is working on new Kenshi game that takes place some time before the current one that is out with improved graphics etc. Buy the original and support them in making the new game. SO MUCH TO DO IN THIS GAME its unbelievable and never gets dull IMHO!

Some forts I’ve built playing Dwarf Fortress had several hundred hours individually. Don’t know if one would make for the most time per “single save,” but the long-running games would certainly be highly-placed in the list. :stein:

There's a lot of very old games I've played for years. I've played "Beneath a Steel Sky" once or twice every year since it came out.

But that's a pretty short game, so if we're going purely by hours, most likely Morrowind. I've had it forever and I can sink weeks into it at a time. After that, it's a toss-up between any of the other Bethesda RPG, Theme Hospital and Zoo Tycoon 1.

I bought and paid for 'Seige of Avalon' by chapters a long time ago and I still miss it. Even today, I still miss it. Lol

I haven't thought about that game in years - I totally forgot it was sold in chapters. I don't think I ever finished it...mmm...

*Google...Google...Google..*

Oh yes, that's on the GOG summer sale. I am so getting that! Thanks for the reminder. :)

It usually takes me around 400 hours to finish a single character through the Fallout 4 story and dlc arcs.

TBH if all I did was 'finish' the stuff, it'd be closer to 60ish. But ... I get distracted. And mod settlements. why I have 2500 hours in it.

If you add quest mods in and I find that quite a few of these modders do a decent job with the work they put when creating extra content to add more hours to the game.

X3: Albion Prelude with some mods.

I think I've played with a single character for over 4 years. But not in one go. :P
Now every sector lags like no tomorrow.

Is nice to come back to go for multiple playthroughs, can make multiple choices, can mod to add extra adventure/content to your sessions, it's endless like skyrim.

There's the one guy on nexus that has an april fool's gag every year, and I swear to god I'd play every single one of them if he'd ever actually made them :D
