Steam link on deck not working

After most recent steam deck update trying to steam link from of to the deck is just straight up not working.. it will just get stuck on the spinning steam logo and the audio will come through but can’t see any visuals past the spinning logo. Hope they fix this soon. I use the steam link every time I pick up the deck and for it to be broke on this newest update is a big bummer.

I'm getting this as well. I've tried reboot, re-pair, desktop mode, no luck. Did not think I'd encounter this much jank with the deck

Yeah it’s a nightmare. Cruising through the discussion on the new update and apparently this was in the beta version and someone had reported the bug but looks like it got its way through to the stable channel. Can’t figure out a work around either. Apparently it still works in desktop mode but when I tried to steam link Diablo 4 in desktop mode it just froze up on me. So it Looks like we’ll have to wait for a hot fix or just no more steam link for the time being. Rip :(

Just a bit of advice. When you find your deck is working perfectly for you DO NOT UPDATE IT. I’m still on version 3.4 and will not update it until I’m forced. Everything works flawlessly including streaming from pc to deck.

Yeah I learned that lesson lol. Will not be updating after this steam link fix whenever that may be without researching bugs prior to the update.
