^^^^^^^This is about steam cloud^^^^^
mainly this is where saves would be
Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata
MacOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/userdata
Linux: ~/.local/share/Steam/userdata
Awful. Happens to everyone. Even the ones who note it don't.
Manual save folder and files as would data backup the game itself is just proper responsibility built up to over time and experience. Most believe it is just a game so don't. if you ever want teached experience of running a server and tape backups cd/dvd/blueray external hardrive then perhaps go that route slowly and learn to write a app to auto save those folders into new folders not overtop like a security camera system would.
we are so back thank you for helping
Please note, if you did something in game example hit delete save, or overwrite save, just don't close game, alt + tap out of game, download your cloud save game, then replace current files, force close game don't click save, or anything just alt + f4 then can launch the game, and carry one from your cloud saves was left off at this is one of the perks of having cloud save.
Also if need to find game save location use PC gaming wiki it should have most information where game save exact location.
