Polish prices...
...are out of whack. When will Steam update the suggested prices for Poland? I'm not talking about the old Argentinian level, but paying more than every western European country is just ridiculous.

Steam changing suggested pricing will have 0 impact if publishers don't want to change prices of their games.

And at this point I am starting to wonder, where on the world game prices are not "too high".

Slovaks pay more because of €€€ while earning less than the average Polak. All prices in the East Europe are sadly gonna be high. The only change you can sadly do is not get the Euro and fix your economy or end up like Argentina or Turkey.

That's just pathetic. We have highest prices in the world with very low income...

Video games are a luxury, a sometimes expensive one at that, they are NOT a human right.
No one is obligated to sell or give away games to those who cannot afford them.
The devs have their own bills to pay and mouths to feed, so if your money isn't worth much, that is not the devs problem.
Work on improving your economy to improve the value of your currency.

Helldivers 2 devs priced it lower than Valve's suggested price for Poland.

Steam suggested prices are just outdated and should be actualized more often

Yes, you can find many reddit posts about this. Valve even promised to refresh suggested prices on an annual basis: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/steamworks/announcements/detail/3314110913449340511

Seems like the currency value is fairly bad;
1 PLN ≈ 0.25 USD
Developers usually don't like getting fractions of what they want to receive for their game. So Valve is more likely to reflect the suggested price to Valve to get the desired amount in their local currency. It's not the prices that are the issue, it's the low value of the currency.

Just like with what happened with Turkey and Argentina.
The devs want to properly be paid.
So if your currency has a low global value, then your gonna have to pay more with your currency to afford the games.
While the Polish currency isn't as low value as Turkey's or Argentina's, it's still a low value currency right now.

No one said we wanted Argentina or Turkey prices. But we are paying more than other Euro countries (after you convert to the same currency), which is ridiculous. Just take a look at random games with suggested prices: https://steamdb.info/app/1623730/

Each country that loses value in their currency wants less of a price. Turkey, Argentina, Venezuela etc etc. Everyone wants to pay less, but the Developer gets to select the prices, and Developers often don't want a fraction of the desired amount for their game.

If you want it more affordable, reach out to your politicians to stop damaging your currencies value or suggest a working economic recovery plan that would add the country to the international market enough to raise the value of the currency.

Else, you can contact a Developer/Publisher and ask for price considerations.

You don't get it. I just want to spend as much as German, French or American, not 10-15% more.

If you think the prices are too high stop buying them from here and get them from somewhere offering them for less
