The Steam version of this is kind of broken. The GOG version is better, but you’re still better off running it under XP or Linux if you can.
They are older games from before steam had those requirements. Its an older game and not hard to find.

They are pretty solid and cheap
The Steam version doesn’t even run right (Minuteman refuses to move, which is kind of a problem) on Windows 7, lol (hilariously, the Steam version has the same issues when run under Linux/wine as well). The prevailing advice I found for fixing that involved replacing the Steam .exe with GOG one in which case you may as well have just bought it on GOG in the first place. I recall the GOG version being glitchy as well, but I haven’t tested it recently.
