2024 gaming goes ...

I used to play Crisis and Ceasar III when I started playing on pc. Star Citizen looks like the bottom of the pit guys.
Why the hell isnt there a single nice game coming out? Wheres the fun and the addiction we used to get when we played SWG 1.0?
When Elden Ring and that piece of trash of BG3 becomes Goty, we have a major problem. The best game that came out in years as a classic RPG is Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous. The best game in years that came out as a MMO was WoW (gotta love dressing yourself up) Everything else is a failure of Mortal Combat 46 and Tomb Raider 73.
Seriously we get to unlock acheivements with spacebar macros guys and we are still calling this gaming...

Yes. I agreed on most of your comments.
Players need to learn to be more patient, be more observative, and do not rush into purchasing any games that are expensive to them.
Honest game reviews may help to minimize bad choices.

As you can see, the only area I did not comment is the games' names/developers.
For their stand point of views, it is all about doing/creating businesses.
It's a business. Everything is business opportunity.
So, when you click like/love or follow any of these games/developers, do not go into personal.
You will be a better person (Immune to all these sh12).

Heh. I think Elden Ring was rather mid tbh. I think that game being goty speaks more of how bad of a year it was than anything really.

Part of getting older is that things can change, including your own preferences. It could very well be that you're burned out on gaming or have changed in a way that a different hobby is better suited to you.

If you can't find nice games in todays gaming, it's not a "problem" with gaming. That might actually be very indicative that you need to look at yourself and how you're spending your time. Why force yourself onto gaming if you don't enjoy it anymore?
