I advise you to read the thread and gather some info before talking.
Before you try to cite First Amendment/Freedom of Speech, I suggest you look the wordage of said amendment up.
Says nothing about private parties.
Gather info? as in your post history clearly shows you believe you are above the "Discussion Rules and Guidelines" and "Online Conduct".
Exactly my point and those are replies to toxic content these moderators dont do anything about. Im not just gonna stay there and eat that up, anyways nice try on trying to shame me buddy, I guess its easier to judge people right ;)
Literally the point of this topic, this community is so broken because of these lackluster rules and the negligent people that operate it.
Now give daddy a break.
I got banned for a week for this reason:
"This post contains content that is inflammatory and likely to create arguments and other non-constructive replies. This type of content is not allowed on the Steam Community. "
Also this, is 90% of this great forum. I cant make it simpler. Thanks for your attention.
what i'm doing is giving Concrete Evidence on how OP got his "the finals game" Steam Forum Ban.
as for why
here the reason(s)
1) he is extremely highly insulting and very rude
2) calling everyone names
none of them are "joking" posts at all.
even i will report such a person as well.
Ah! yes the age old "my replies were not toxic" only the other posters were toxic, yet the proof is in the reading of your replies which cannot be described as polite, after all it is not what you say but HOW you say it which determines if you get a warning or a ban, hence why the reason given was:
Have you tried being less toxic? Maybe take your ban like a man and learn from it, instead of running to other steam forums looking for attention?
Not possible, because they won't give you any useful feedback ever. They just repeat the rules, which are much too vague and tell you nothing.
I mean the overwhelming majority of users seem to be able to understand the rules just fine, 95% of them boil down to don't be a jerk
No they don't, they are just oblivious to how bad the moderation is.
"Don't be a jerk" is very vague. What that means depends on who you ask. It is also up to interpretation.
Yet again the majority of users on steam seem to manage to follow the rules just fine and not be banned...
How do you know that? Have you asked this majority? Don't think so. It depends on a lot of things, which hub you are in, if people report you or not, etcetera. We can't know anything for sure though because it is apparently a great mystery, they are very very secretive about everything. Which is already not a good look, especially because of the reason I mentioned in my first comment above.
