China: Don't break the rules and you're fine.
Russia: Ditto.
Correct, it's not illegal here because "loli" and "shota" fail to meet the Miller Test's standards.

We also have something called 18 U.S. Code Subsection 2257, for adult content that typically would meet the Miller Test.

Fun fact: "Loli" and "shota" are Japanese fictional character tropes, not adult genres.
EDIT: Don't break the rules.
Unfortunately that very fact is a bad thing since these two subjects are being used by pedophiles as a "legal" outlet for their rather questionable desires.
Fortunately those two are banned here in Germany and will be punished just like the real deal.
A fair point, certainly. It doesn't make those things any less disgusting and questionable at best.
Questionable, perhaps.
Disgusting, not sure about that one.
Might sound controversial but I'd rather have someone do their thing over that than go out hunting for a real child.
Same with the child sex dolls, it is... well, at least they keep the minor offenders at bay.
Well, could be worse? Sure, but I don't think that's a good reason to tolerate anything, you know. If that were the case, by this logic you also should be fine with these people parking their cars in front of schools just to "watch".
Well that's different since it involves real children that may or may not get harmed, child dolls on the other hand are inanimate objects and thus certainly better than letting them loose on real children.
Don't get me wrong, those dolls should be made illegal and the ones who make them quartered, but it doesn't change the fact that they are a better outlet than actual children.
Just my opinion.
It's best if users are told to not use their Steam Login outside of Steam, which keeps a minimum level of security by not giving any fake sites a chance to do damage. Most of them are fake, hence the issue being a problem.
PLease don't make up blatant falsehoods.
Everyone can tell you are wrong about that being on the profiles.
Good lord.
It literally is against Steam's own rules to have that type of stuff.
EVER.
So please don't spread misinformation on a massive scale.
Also, as awkward as Shota and Loli is, it's still not real life people, and even though I hate it, I won't try to confuse the two and start trying to burn people for looking at Loli or Shota.
Besides, we have that one Anime for that anyhow, Boku No Piko.
That will be the last time I bring it up.
Well, that user didn't say anything false. Do you know the game "Mage Kanade's Futanari Dungeon Quest", for example? Check out its animated background.
There are several animated backgrounds and no one in any of them are under 18.
So, LOL wut.
Sorry, but that's not lolicon or shota, or anything.
That's not even underage 16 year olds.
Seriously, WTF.
Why make me look at Futanari games? XD
Well, I must say that's quite interesting, how are you able to determine the age of fictional characters?
By literally looking at them.
LOL wut.
No one can claim that woman is under 18 ever.
There are rules for what is allowed on Steam's point shops.
No one is allowed to be under 18 in a sexy manner.
EVER.
Period.
Good lord, at least try to not make it obvious you love arguing.
Well, whether we're talking about real people or fictional characters, "looking at them" is not a reliable method to determine someone's age, my dear friend.
