I experienced it firsthand when I sent a ticket to support a week ago.
I won't mention the specific issue because it's unrelated, but I'll just say that I asked them, "1+1=?" and they responded with "3+4=7."
Thanks to a thread from a frustrated poster who was upset with support for not reading their ticket and instead sending a copy-pasted answer, similar to what you mentioned above, I realize it.
Every manual ticket is indeed read by a real human. If the answer is not what you are looking for, no matter how odd/seemingly unrelated reply you get, it is their way of saying 'no.'

I really think at this point in time everything you do here is going to be scrutinized by some of the other people here regardless of your birth status. Fact is some people are just looking for excuses to put the ban-hammer on someone else ... especially those who don't just sheeple along with their ideals/beliefs.
Example: my brother and I were playing Dark Age of Csmelot on a Role Playing server and he named his friar character Umble Stumbles. Some people didn't take too kindly to it as they didn't believe it was a name for a RP server and tried to get him banned.
The people at Mythic told him all he had to do was come up with a backstory for the name. Who would have thought after watching all the versions of Robin Hood out there that all Friars didn't drink? He certainly did. So he wrote a backstory and it was OK'ed by them.
Not surprisingly the attempts at getting him banned didn't stop even after all that. Eventually his friar got the ban hammer again. That was the last day we ever played DAoC.
Had it happen in Everquest as well ... but when they named the guild *The Short Bus* eventually I knew that wasn't going to fly. I was surprised myself it lasted as long as it did seeing as I had an Aunt who was handicapped.
Some people just can't keep themselves out of other peoples business.
At this point in time I really have to believe (since I can't see it myself and judge it) that it was possibly offensive to someone. Be thankful it was only your profile pic. Could have been worse.
Thank you, I greatly appreciate the depth of your insight.
Well, it's important to keep in mind that sometimes content may be removed even though no rules were broken. Do you know Tanoomba?

Explain how without sounding fatphobic and intolerant. You're exactly my point. You claim offended for the sake of creating difficulty for me. The worst part of this community. Acting like this to prevent others from expressing themselves. You are pathetic.
Seriously, what was the avatar that got banned?
Nice try though.
He can't even change his Avatar for a week.
And he wouldn't have used an overweight person ever in an avatar.
No one does that.
LOL.
