Stop using shady third party trade sites or clicking suspicious links.
Not much, they asked me for my username and my purchase history list, and then asked me to log out my account (wich I didn't)
I have mails on gmail, that could work?
Bonus step: If you have your Steam account linked to discord, removing that link might reduce the chance of further scam attempts.
Yeah, I'll do that, for now I desauthorized all my devices and used new steam guard codes, omg thank you so much
They want access to your account to find out if you got anything worth stealing like expensive skins from those stupid FPS games and then leave. if they know the skins are on your account, they'll try get to them however they can.
That alone should have been a big red flag.
There is even a support page about this scam.
Scam: I Have Been Reported and Will Be Banned
