You told them to remove their head out of their ass. That kinda gives them a reason to ban you and remove your thread.
As for their business model. I don't believe Valve will check it up because a lot of Free to play games have this where you can buy gears and such but if you farm for it and even if it takes several hundreds of hours it's fine.
You are fooling yourself if you think that they can or should tell another company how to manage things.
With that being said, I read the reviews for that game, sadly its nothing special in games that are mostly geared toward the asian/whales market, especially since companies like R2 games have proven countless times that pay-to-win can be a successful business model.
As long as there is a market for it, it will exist. Businesses first and foremost exist to make money and thats it.
Btw ever heard of the saying "you get what you pay for"? Aka if you pay nothing then be grateful if you get anything.
Also I fail to see personally why Valve should police F2P games as long as they arent doing anything detrimental to Steam as a service itself.
I said the word but with an additional "t" not the alternative beginning with the word A.
Aside from that, what about the false advertising? Or how their service is worsened with a purchase of premium guaranteeing faster connection time to a server channel?
Those seem like pretty big things that Steam should worry about if they're going to have a game on their platform. It's giving Steam a bad name by carrying the weight of a company that doesn't implement patches released a year or so ago or a company that intentionally doesn't improve server status, in-game events, etc. just so it can remain a cash cow.
Im not sure how it deteriotes Valve status that a random MMO is not being updated as it should be
Or do you yell at sites like Armorgames if they host p2w mmo-s?
Beside most often than not all Valve host is the launcher of said game and everything else happens outside of Steamservices (other than steam overlay support and such)
That item is specifically under a "Sale" tab within the store, but implies the item is a price hike.
That's false advertising.
"Deceptive advertising, also known as false advertising, refers to a manufacturer's use of confusing, misleading, or blatantly untrue statements when promoting a product ." -Consumer Laws
With this product being sold at a price that's misleading, confusing, and blatantly untrue in accordance with it supposedly being a "Sale" shows how it's false advertising. Not if an item is missing from a store. This is indisputable.
My problem with this game is that it has taken advantage of customers, without owning up to it, displaying the poor work morals of NTTGame.
I was hoping for a Steam employee to side with me on this and see if there's anything they can do. If not, then oh well
