ask the company that makes the game ?
So.. why dont you write that in the Lethal Company forums? So the developers, who actually set the prices and apply any discounts, can see it?

Because it’s insanely popular so why leave money on the table

The game recently released and is already a hit with content creators, making bank at its current price.

Why would they put it on sale?

It just came out and it's #4 in the top sellers right now, behind Baldur's Gate 3, the Steam Deck, and Cyberpunk 2077. Discounting it now would be shooting themselves in the foot.

The game released barely two months ago into Early Access and costs less than 10 bucks in any major currency. The game already is dirt cheap.

The game probably wont have a discount for quite a while because it's good value right now and incredibly popular so there would be no reason for them to put it in the sale. Valve already takes 30% so the devs are making less than £6 a sale as it is.

Which at an estimated 7.4 million copies sold, is equivalent to 51.7 million dollars. Their last couple of games only got them tens of thousands of dollars, so I'm sure they're beyond thrilled right now.

That would also mean a lesser cut for Valve and more for the devs/pubs by exceeding the sales for the new tiers...

Maybe your parents will get you a gift card or something for Christmas, only a few days to wait.

Don't send this guy to the forum, there is enough people arguing over a winter sale for this new game that is in early access. :zagsnooze:

If the game was $5 more and the developer put it on sale at 30% off the OP would be arguing for a bigger sale. Sale has nothing to do with it, his funds do.

Are you even old enough to play Lethal Company?
Sasori Kigaru Dec 23, 2023 @ 3:53am
The game is $10, its practically already at a "Sale" price its that cheap. I feel if someone can't afford a $10 game then their priorities need to be elsewhere.. or if not old enough to have a job offer to do some chores or some work at home for money. Thats what I did if I really wanted to earn something back then.
