Spam reviews
It is getting more and more popular to copy-paste "funny" reviews. Often it seems like these spam reviews are made by bots. One popular copy-paste is "Since nobody reads the reviews, I'll say that I'm gay". Some accounts have copy-pasted this into hundreds of games, often played less than 2 hours so that they then can refund the game. They can earn hundreds of thousands of Steam Points from these spam reviews.

I do my best to report the reviews and the accounts, but they are getting more and more common. Partly because it seems like Steam doesn't stop it and partly because people keep handing out Community Awards to these spam reviews.

Can't agree here. Saw a couple of those, they're not getting more and more though.

They've become more common when the points awards got introduced years ago, yes. But the growth has staganted a while ago.

Still too much, mind.

Reporting a review seems disproportionate. They will only become angry, sad, or confused. It won't help.
