Search a Ps2 Game

Hey Everybody
I'm looking for a Musou PS2 game. I used to play it splitscreen with my brother. There everyone had an army and people fought against invaders. There was even a map with ships. The special thing about the game was that you could trigger abilities that could then wipe out entire armies with a hail of arrows or ice damage or something else. I haven't seen that in Dynasty Warriors until now... You could also ride a horse and fight from there. I hope you can help me. Thank you very much

Does sound exactly like dynasty warriors to me, I'm thinking dw3. Perhaps samurai warriors or the crossover warriors orochi.

Anyway, look at the various Koei musou games and you'll likely find it.

Agree with Crazy Tiger, definitely sounds like Dynasty/Samurai Warriors.

Now I kinda want to revisit Samurai Warriors Xtreme...

If this is for the PS2 then hands down its either one of these games.
- Dynasty Warriors <--- I don't think so, but can be wrong.

- Samurai warriors, or xtreme

- Warriors orochi

- Devil kings


If you can give more details like character line, and looks maybe could help in that way.

Could be one of the Kessen games.
There were 3 of those for Playstation 2.
A mix of strategy and action.
Especially those special attacks like arrows rain or magic lightning/hail i remember from Kessen 1 or 2.

Thanks a lot for all the answers I'll watch the games tonight. In principle it's like Dynasty Warriors, but I didn't find the special abilities there. I don't know how you were able to trigger this, only that it triggered a powerful attack. Some of the special attacks also included ice damage or fire damage. At least that’s how I remember it 😄

It's certainly not Kessen, it was already a Dynasty game, but which one... You also had different characters and these special abilities where you could wipe out entire hordes with some magic... Didn't get around to it yesterday, I'll take a look at the games mentioned today 😉 thank you very much for the answers
