Group chats not working

Tried to join a new game group chat but nothing happens when I click group chat. I tried opening in a new tab and it just says

"about:blank#blocked"


is anyone else having this problem or is it just me?

The same.
While it's not fixed, I'm joining the chats as follows:
:hintarrow: Starting from the Community Hub, where you'll find [Group Chat] and [Follow].
- Follow the game.
- Now that you're following, open the same page in your browser (I use Firefox).
- Finally, click [Group Chat] in your browser, not the app.

The chat window should open in your Steam app.

No need to log in via browser. Just be logged into your Steam app on your PC.

thanks for the help, but is there a way to join group chats within a group itself that's not associated with a game?

doing what you said only lets me join a group chat for a game itself that I follow

Half a year and still not fixed? Lol Half-Life 3 must be in development. Rather it be Portal 3 but ohwell lol
