Can a friend see my status after I delete him from friendlist?

Hi,
I am online but invisible for months now in steam because I have added one guy & I really regret doing so, because I don't want to play with him and I don't want him to see me online. Can he see me online after I delete or block him on steam, or am I shown as offline after deleting or blocking him, so I can go online again as usual? Thanks for help!

I mean unless your profile is set to private, public profiles show everyone if someone is online or not or if their on a game or not, would never really matter if they were a friend or not.

Unless you set your "game details" to complete private in your account settings and your status to "offline" in the chat, people can see if you are online on your profile page.

Long story short, he or she will still be able to see you online. But then again, so everyone else.

If he has been removed, he will not be able to chat with you anymore, so even if you are online that should not be a reason to worry about.

Off-chat harassment, like unwanted comments in your profile page, can possibly be deleted and/or reported, depending on the circumstances and where it was done.

I did something very stupid when I added my boss to my steam list when I thought he was a nice one. Since then, he turned out to be an absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, that's why I am invisible in chat since i found out. :/ stupid me, lesson learned.
