Remapping generic ABXY controller to show playstation buttons
Pretty much what it says on the tin. It's not an original Xbox controller, though steam seems to think so (model is Kapbom - KAP-360 if it helps). I'd like to play using ps5 prompts, though nothing I do seems to work. Is it even possible?

PS prompts need to be natively supported by a game otherwise it defaults to XB prompts.

Some games do support PS prompts natively - Prey 2017 is one example.

Buy a gamepad that identifies as a PS gamepad to the system so games detecting those things natively can, well, detect it.

That would be the easy solution. Another easy solution would be a piece of software to emulate a PS gamepad on top of another one. However, such software doesn't exist so you'd have to write it which would be the hard solution. Or commission it, how hard that of a solution would be, I've no idea.
