Friends and Chat Disconnected

Lately, when my game starts up when I turn on my PC, I have noticed this option shows up disconnected after exiting the big picture option.

Check your network connection: Ensure that you have a stable and strong internet connection. If your internet connection is unstable, it may cause issues with your Steam Friends and Chat.

Restart Steam: Try restarting the Steam client to see if it resolves the issue. This can sometimes help to reestablish the connection between Steam and the server.

Check Steam server status: Check to see if there are any known issues with the Steam servers. You can do this by visiting the Steam status page.

Clear Steam's web browser cache: Clearing Steam's web browser cache can sometimes help to resolve connection issues with Steam Friends and Chat. To do this, go to your Steam client settings, select the "Web Browser" tab, and click "Delete Web Browser Cache."
