consoles use a customized locked mass production model cpu / gpu combination.
generally these components are less powerful and more cheaply manufactured to keep the cost of the console down - which is very important. if you start passing the 500$ mark, no one wants to buy your console anymore, they will just buy a pc+ games then use emulator lol.
but, the console's goal is not power, its 'performance' / 'user experience' so they take measures to ensure that by designing the console around those principles.
ps6 will feature good equipment onboard, but its not going to challenge the average pc builder. not to mention, you as a builder also have the ability to repair / maintain / replace parts in your pc for longevity purposes, consoles conveniently remove your right to repair =p
i think the casuals will buy ps6 console for 800 dollars for sure. Some of them dont know anything about PCs, some are terrified of PC user interface some dont know what a keyboard is man. they just want something easy to use and pcs are nerdy and requires more attention than normal, i swear casuals will buy ps6 coz some are just plebs of society with money you know wat i mean.
if sony and xbox says its more powerful than your PC they will believe it coz zombies dont know nothing about a pc tho haha.
Everything you have said about advantages of pc its the exact opposite of a casual thinking mind of a zombie , you see they dont want to repair stuff , they want it easy to use with one button and on off switch and pads. plug and play nothing complicated. i know people who are terrified fo PC too complex for them.
Theres no way ps5 can handle unreal engine 5 anymore.

Also not sure what temp in the room, or such but if person from a hot climate then need to keep dust clean out of it as dust can be a problem. But as far we can see online, and forums, barely anything about thermal problems for PS5, unless we talking about thermal compound leaking, which is on certain models, and had to be RMA due to that, and no it wouldn't display overheating warning, it be a shortage that kills the system on the spot because they used conductive thermal compound that shorts out the procossor, and what on board to burn out.
Right now Fortnite uses Unreal engine 5 on console, and PC just so you know.
What price did PS3 launch at again? Wasnt it over 600? And that was years ago.
