Steam Deck Purchase
Hi! I will be buying a Steam deck soon, and I would love to know how the shipping works with that! I have had packages stolen from my porch before, so it would be nice to know if the shipping they use has digital tracking and (hopefully) requires a signature.

UPS/FedEx for the US. No signature required. But if it does get stolen in transit, Valve will "usually" send out a new one.

Thank you so much! I was really concerned about this cause I did not want to lose 500 just cause some punk wanted to steal my stuff.

You can always check with the carrier to see if it's possible to reroute the package to a nearby pickup location. I have my UPS packages go to the nearby UPS store if I'm worried I won't be home to pick it up. You can usually do the same with FedEx. Sometimes it's possible to get them to hold it at the dock and you can pick it up directly from there.
