New Steam Scam? (take 2)

I'm guessing my post got deleted for including links (a notification would have been good).

Long story short, if someone randomly ask you to vote for their friend's cs team then it is a scam. I've had two people try it in the last week with the exact same messages...

A well known scam. Nothing new. Don't click on all links you see, and especially don't type in your account data ...
If you want to login, open the Steam website by yourself (bookmark), then login. After that may click on the random links people send you. If it leads you to a Steam website and it still asks you to login: It's a phishing site.

And no, Steam support don't contact you via Discord. No, the Support will not ask you to trade items to your friends. No, you won't get banned just because a random person reported you.

Pay attention to the general forums and you'll see variations of it and other scams every week.
