Link Steam with YouTube fails with "insecure browser"

Not sure if this is the right spot for the topic. Didn't see a bug help section for Steam itself.

I've been trying to link my YouTube to my Steam account but when I follow all the guides it takes me to the Steam built in browser and YouTube doesn't like it. So I can't log in to verify Steam now.

This is due to Google not allowing any embedded browser, this includes the one in Steam.
Nothing Valve can do about.

Use a proper browser to do the linking.

I would love to use a real browser. But it won't work with one. Linking always opens the Steam browser from within steam.
Which is why I made a post.

Doesn't matter though. It's not that important to me anymore

You can copy the URL from the address bar and paste it to a real browser.

Yeah I tried that and got errors. I think it has to do with the new Steam UI update or something.

1) Open your actual browser. Steam is not an actual browser. Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, Brave are all real browsers.
2) Go to steamcommunity.com
3) Log in
4) Go to your profile
5) Go to videos
6) Click that link to link YT
7) Sign in to your Google account
8) ???? (I literally don't know what comes next as I never did this)
9) You should be linked?

8) Steam links to You Tube
9) There were no videos found in your YouTube collection to choose from.

I'm stuck here at 9. I created a You Tube Steam playlist. Made it PUBLIC and allowed embedding. Each vid was made allow embedding (only option offered)
