Gifted games and funds do not count. To un-limit your account you have to spend your own money.

How do I gain access to these features?

You will need to spend at least $5.00 USD within the Steam store. Click here to view your current limited user spend.

Some examples of purchases that grant access to these features are:

  • Adding the equivalent of $5 USD or more to your Steam Wallet
  • Purchasing game(s) that are equal to $5 USD or more from the Steam store
  • Adding a Steam Wallet card that is equal to $5 USD or more to your Steam account
  • Purchasing a Steam gift that is equal to $5 USD or more from the Steam store

(Receiving a Steam gift or digital gift card from a friend doesn't count)

Use your own payment method (credit/debit) to load $5 and it will work. Gifts don't count.

I don't have a payment type to add since I am a minor and my parents don't want to spend money on "stupid games". But i still want to spend money so is there anything else to do to un-limit my account

You can always buy a physical Steam wallet card and redeem that. Or simply accept that you'll remain unlimited for the time being.
