SteamID finder pages stopped working...

Hey there,
I was wondering if through the most recent Steam update, if the retreiving from data through external pages stopped working.

I previously used pages like Steam I/O or SteamID Finder, to retreive direct profile URLs with SteamID64, simply as profile links with a custom URL stop working, as soon as the custom URL is changed.

Does anyone know what's going on there and if the functionality of these pages come back?

Why don't you just use ?xml=1 instead?

still works.

And as it also lists SteamID64 to build a permanent profile link, all good.

Add ?xml=1 after the URL. The very first thing you see is...

<profile>
<steamID64>76561197980083098</steamID64>

I'm still using yours as an example.

I found steamidcheck.com does a really good job at finding A TON of useful information about steam accounts, even finds linked twitch pages sometimes..

Thanks for bringing this up again.
I actually ended up using https://steamid.uk
and I'm happy with all the features it provides without an account for.
