STEAM REFUND
Hello, I recently played the free access of Meet Your Maker over the weekend. During the free period, I exceeded 2 hours of gameplay. Afterwards, since I liked the concept of the game, I decided to purchase it. However, since the end of the free access, there is no one playing the game anymore, and it loses all its appeal (dead game).

I haven't played for more than 2 hours since my purchase, but after submitting 2 refund requests to Steam, they are refusing my refund because my total playtime exceeds 2 hours.

I feel like they're playing with their stats to their advantage, and I want to know if you agree with me that this is problematic.

All playtime counts.
You can try a manual ticket.

Support --> Purchase --> Select purchase --> I have a question ... --> State your case as elaborate as possible.
Hope for the best, Valve can still say no.

The automated refund system will reject you for having played over two hours, yes.

So instead you should submit a manual refund request. Select "I have a question about this purchase" in the Steam Support page and state your reasoning for needing a refund. Your request will be viewed by someone with actual human eyeballs who will make an actual human decision as to whether you should be granted a refund or not.

The only problem is that there's no "I have a question" and I didn't find any way to talk to a real person..

Yeah the "Free Access" in the image was strange so now I clicked on the receip for the paid one and I have the same options.
