Steam Deck buy over time?
Hi there I want to buy the steam Deck but the only place that actually sells it for a good price is of course steam, everywhere else is selling for $200 more. I was wondering if there a way I can pay overtime like every month? Thank you all.

Not directly through Steam but PayPal has an option for this through them.

It's not a console and most games I play on the handheld PC are games I do actually own.

What are you going on about? The steam deck is a handheld pc that can do anything your desktop pc can do.
If you have the Affirm app you can use that to take out a loan specially for the purchase, then choose a payment plan for the loan. You’d have to be approved first.

That's what credit cards are for
you have to own the games, many articles suggest that steam deck has functionality issues with wifi connectivity when not docked.

My Deck has no connectivity issues. I do not own a dock.

You can always just charge your wallet over time and when you finally have enough money place your order paying for it from the wallet.

Wow... who would've thought game ownership was required!?!?
i mean you have to have physical software installed, you can't use online dmr to play on steam deck it just doesn't work right for alot of the content, they put the antena to close to the speaker wires and there is alot of interferance that causes very poor connectivity. between the m.2 chip and the audio wires next to the antena its a nightmare for most people to use the wifi.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
